Dear Beloved,

kelseyisms:

My joy can never be taken from you. You can only lose it if you give it away.

Don’t give it away.

You have the hope of the world. Never let a circumstance change that. With my life and with my death, I have defeated all of the sin and circumstances that could imprison you. That should give you more freedom and more joy than you could ever imagine. Remember that, and cling to my joy.

I love you. Hang in there.

Yours Eternally,

God

“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined” (Luke 5:37, NIV) Are you ready for a new chapter in your life? In order to move forward into the blessings God has for you, you have to be willing to let go of the old. The things that are behind you are not nearly as important as what is out in front of you. It’s time to get ready for the “new”! You may have had some unfair things happen, things that you don’t understand. But let me tell you, you have come too far to stop now. Instead of allowing those things to hold you back, why don’t you let go and take a step of faith into the new? It’s time to get a new, bigger vision; it’s time to get a new, fresher outlook; it’s time to rise up with a new attitude! Instead of settling where you are, pick up and move forward. Have the attitude that says, “I may not understand it; it may not have been fair, but I am not getting stuck on this page. I know God has a new chapter for me — a chapter filled with blessings, favor and victory!” Bishop T.D. Jakes - Free Your Mind

Have you ever felt like a Failure? Join the club! You’re in good company with the rest of the human race.
We’ve all experienced setbacks, adversity, failure, pain and frustration. In many ways, I believe Disappointment is a universal language. It’s something we can all relate to, but we don’t talk much about how to get through it. I definitely don’t have all the answers, but I do believe God gives us some important Truths to remember when we’re dealing with life’s disappointments. 1. You’re not defined by your Failures (or by your Successes). We live in a world that tries to put us in either a “Winner” Column or a “Loser” Column. God doesn’t categorize us that way. Your value isn’t based on your performance; it’s based on God’s never-ending love for you.
2. You are growing through this process. You might now feel like it, but you’re being stretched, disciplined and strengthened as you endure life’s hardships. God promises to work everything together for our good and His Glory. If you’re going through something difficult, it’s probably because God is preparing you for something great!
3. Great blessings are ahead. If God closes a door, it’s because He has a better one that he wants you to discover. Sometimes it takes many closed doors before we’re ready for the right one. In the meantime, we’ve got to choose the right attitude. Disappointment will always produce either Bitterness or Growth in your Life, but You get to decide which one! 4. God is Bigger than whatever is stressing you out! No matter how big the Fear or Failure might seem, God is bigger and He is with you! He says, “Never will I leave you or forsake you.” Never let fear rob you of your dreams.
I don’t believe you are reading these words by accident. I believe God wants to remind you that He loves you, He is with you and He will never let you down. Keep trusting Him and don’t lose hope! Disappointments are temporary but your Destiny is Eternal. Remember His promises…
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the LORD; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:!!

MY GOD!!!
You are growing through this process…..
yes God….

Dear Heavenly Father, I am SO done living my own life. I am SO done living a lukewarm life. I’m so tired of failing & I’m so fed up with my sins. I’m tired of being defeated in my daily battles and struggles. I’m tired of fighting against my flesh & making poor decisions. I feel like every-time I try to take 3 steps forward closer to You, the enemy is constantly pulling my flesh down and then I take 10 steps backward.
Why is this SO hard?
Father would You give me the strength everyday to walk in Your ways. Would You search me, test me, and make my heart pure so that I may see You.. Would help me strive to enter that narrow gates of Your heavenly kingdom?Because I know many will find it, but only a few will be able to enter it. And I want to be those few who will enter it. I desire to stand before You my Lord, my God, my King on that judgement day and hear Your words and say,
“Well done my good and faithful servant.”
Please Father, hear my cry. Hear my prayer. Take my life and take full control of me. I want to spend eternity with You. I want to be blameless and holy before Your coming. I want to be set apart and be distinguished as Your Child. Give me the desires of Your heart and plant them in my heart so that my outmost desires are all about You and Your works. Just like what Apostle Paul said in Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Notes Of A Pastor...: 7 Things About Obedience...

notesofapastor:

  1. Obedience keeps our relationship with God open and free.
  2. Adam and Eve got what they wanted. Instead of being obedient, they received intimate knowledge of both good and evil. But they got it by doing evil, and the results were disastrous. If they had obeyed God, they would have received the…

"I am totally convinced that someone’s attitude is more important than their talents or education. A good attitude attracts good people. Gifted and talented people are always attracted to individuals with good attitudes. A good attitude is so powerful that it can open doors that years of experience cannot. God gave us attitude to use as a tool."

-

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NLT)

31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior.

32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

When you’re tempted to give up on your dreams, when you’re tempted to just settle where you are, listen to that still, small voice of hope on the inside that says, “No way. This is not who I am. I was created to live in victory. I was created to overcome this sickness. I was created to rise above these problems.” Put your hope and trust in the Lord because He is faithful! As you do, He will renew your strength. He’ll cause you to soar on wings like the eagle, and you’ll be empowered to move forward confidently into the victory He has for you!

“Come close to God, and God will come close to you…” (James 4:8, NLT)
God promises that He will draw close to you when you draw close to Him. How do we draw close to Him? First of all, this verse goes on to say that we must turn away from sin because sin separates us from God. When we turn away from the things that displease Him, we are turning toward Him. That’s the first step. Then, the Bible tells us to come into His presence with thanksgiving in our hearts and give Him praise. When you have a thankful heart, you are drawing closer to Him. Thirdly, scripture tells us that God opposes the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. When you live with an attitude of humility, you are drawing closer to Him.
Friend, there’s nothing more important in life than drawing close to God the Father. Seek Him with your whole heart, and you will find Him. Let Him speak to your heart by reading your Bible, praying and meditating on His promises every single day. Worship Him with a humble and open heart because when you seek Him, you will find Him, and He will fill you with His peace, comfort and joy all the days of your life!

As a believer in Jesus, you are a new creation! You have a new spirit, a new walk, a new life! There may be “old” things in your life that you are trying to get rid of. Maybe you have old habits or addictions that you want to change. Remember today that the new has come. It’s a new day with new opportunities, and it’s time for you to be the new you. Let this be the day that you break old habits and addictions. Let this be the day that you move forward into a new life of victory. Let this be the day that you take hold of all the spiritual blessings the Lord has promised—peace, health, protection and victory. Be encouraged today because no matter what is happening in your life right now, you have a chance for a new beginning. Choose today to leave the old behind—leave behind old behaviors, old thinking, and old words and embrace the new by faith because this is your year to experience the new life that He has prepared for you!
